International Sessions for Architecture and Urbanism

This was conducted using an agreement with the Housing Ministry during a three-day event at the School of Architecture in Madrid. The subheading was “From the architects’ perspective” which was the focal topic at the seven tables where mostly architects were seated and during the master classes given by two well-known architects, Eva Kail and Beatriz Colomina. Around 200 people attended the event.

The roundtables had two main topics: 1. From landscape to small scales 2. Intervention in territories, a practice in transformation 3. The role of the public: Impact on the process of change 4. Liberal profession: Thinking, looking towards the future, building 5. Education: The path and the path to take, from theory to practice 6. Other facets in architecture 7. Professionals from architecture in business: A different way of working.
